Matthias tossed a complete-game, one-hit shutout Sunday to help the Warhawks complete a 5-1 week with a 1-0 triumph in the second game against No. 7 Coe (Iowa) at van Steenderen Softball Complex. Her performance included only one walk and seven strikeouts. On Thursday against Dubuque (Iowa), Matthias allowed only one hit and one walk over four innings and struck out five to earn a 10-0 win in five innings. For the week, she finished with a 2-0 record and a 1.31 earned run average in three appearances, which all resulted in UW-Whitewater victories.
