Theron Baumann (Monona Grove, Wis./Monona Grove), Junior
Baumann won the shot put in a field of 28 student-atheltes and placed fourth out of 26 competitors in the discus throw to help the fifth-ranked Warhawks to a runner-up finish at the nine-team, outdoor season-opening Viking Olympics at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. His shot put result of 57-00.25 (17.37 meters) currently leads NCAA Division III and is his best outdoor toss in competition since 2015, while his discus result of 161-08.75 (49.29 meters) leads the WIAC and ranks sixth in the nation.
