Margaret Lotzer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove), Junior
Lotzer won the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle events and finished as runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle to help UW-Whitewater down Lawrence and Lake Forest (Ill.) in a triangular meet Saturday in Appleton, Wis. She tallied a time of 5:22.99 in the 500 and finished the 1000 in 11:08.01, both times that were more than five seconds faster than the runner-up. Her time of 57.36 in the 100 was just three-tenths behind the winner. Lotzer also helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team place fifth with a result of 1:50.33.
