Dan Bielski (Chanhassen, Minn./Minnetonka), Junior
Bielski won the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes as well as the 100-yard butterfly to help the Warhawks defeat Lawrence and Lake Forest (Ill.) in a triangular meet Saturday in Appleton, Wis. He finished the 100 backstroke in 54.40 seconds, more than one second better than the runner-up, and claimed first place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:59.12, more than four seconds faster than second place. Bielski's result of 54.29 in the 100 butterfly was more than one second better than the competition. He also helped the 200-yard medley relay team finish second in 1:40.50.
