Celeste Madda (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central), Freshman
Madda won the 60-meter dash Friday night to help the Warhawks place third at the North Central Cardinal Opener in Naperville, Ill. After finishing fourth in the preliminary race, Madda posted the lone sub-eight second time in the final, crossing the finish line in 7.99 seconds. Her time currently ranks third in the WIAC and 38th in the nation.
