Brandon Arteaga (Lake Zurich, Ill./Lake Zurich), Freshman, 157 Pounds
Arteaga won three matches at 157 pounds last week to help the No. 20 Warhawks win four dual matches, including a thrilling 22-16 triumph over fifth-ranked UW-La Crosse on Thursday. Against the Eagles, Arteaga pinned Michael Murnane with 21 seconds left in the first period to give UW-Whitewater six points. On Saturday at the Rocky Rococo Border Brawls, he finished 2-1 with a technical fall and a decision, with his only loss coming by decision against North Central's Josh Tardy, the nation's No. 7 wrestler at 157 according to the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
