Amanda Strupp (Slinger, Wis./Slinger), Junior
Strupp finished second in the weight throw to help UW-Whitewater place third Saturday at the season-opening Karl Schlender Invitational at Kachel Fieldhouse. Her toss of 55-07.75 (16.96m) currently ranks third in the WIAC and sixth in NCAA Division III. Strupp also recorded a mark of 35-11.25 (10.95m) in the shot put, good for 13th at the meet and 13th in the conference.
