Isaiah Vela (West Chicago, Ill./St. Charles East), Sophomore, 149 Pounds
Vela pinned Greg Osborn in just nine seconds last Tuesday to earn six points and help the then-No. 7 Warhawks defeat UW-Platteville 31-15 in a WIAC dual meet at Kachel Gymnasium. His fall was the fastest of the season for UW-Whitewater. Vela, ranked third in the nation at 149 by both D3wrestle.com and the National Wrestling Coaches Association, is now 9-3 with seven pins this season.
