Jaya Perkins (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville), Senior, Guard
Perkins was named Most Valuable Player at the Main View Tipoff Tournament over the weekend at Manchester (Ind.) University. She tallied 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals in the Warhawks' 89-61 victory over Berea (Ky.) on Friday. One day later, she recorded a game-high 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting in UW-Whitewater's 90-42 triumph over Manchester. Perkins also helped the Warhawks win their season opener, 60-47, at Lakeland on Wednesday, posting seven points, six rebounds and three steals.
