Payton DeLuga (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee Crown), Freshman, Defender
In two Warhawk wins last week, freshman defender Payton DeLuga (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee Crown) played 165 minutes and scored one goal. In a double-overtime win over Loras, DeLuga played 86 minutes on the backline and helped hold the Duhawks to just four shots in the second half. In UW-Whitewater's 4-2 win over UW-River Falls, DeLuga got in on the offensive when she scored her first collegiate goal. DeLuga's goal came in the 54th minute of play and gave the Warhawks a 4-1 lead. DeLuga has started every game this season for the 9-2 Warhawks.
