Warhawk Classic Games to Appear on Time Warner Cable

Three University of Wisconsin-Whitewater national championship game victories will be replayed on Time Warner SportsChannel as part of the channel's "Timeless" series on Mondays at 7 p.m.
 
Time Warner SportsChannel is available to Time Warner Cable customers on channel 1332 (high definition), channel 332 and channel 32 (standard definition).
 
UW-Whitewater is the lone Division III institution involved in the series. Other schools include the University of Wisconsin, Marquette University, UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee.
 
Monday, May 16, 7 p.m. – Football Claims First National Championship
The Warhawk football team's 31-21 triumph over Mount Union (Ohio) in the Stagg Bowl on December 15, 2007, will air on May 16. It was UW-Whitewater's first national title in program history in its third straight national championship game appearance.
 
Monday, June 20, 7 p.m. – Young, Men's Basketball Down Williams for National Title
The men's basketball team's dramatic 75-73 win over Williams (Mass.) in the NCAA Division III Tournament national championship game on March 22, 2014, will air June 20. A coast-to-coast lay-up and free throw by Quardell Young (Kenosha, Wis./Bradford) with under one second to play gave the Warhawks their second national title in three years.
 
Monday, July 18, 7 p.m. – Football Wins Second National Title in Three Years
A 31-yard touchdown run by Levell Coppage with 1:17 to play broke a 28-28 tie, and the Warhawks forced a turnover on the ensuing possession to defeat Mount Union 38-28 for the team's second Stagg Bowl win in three years. The contest will be replayed on July 18.
