The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's football team has been named a favorite and expected to hold the WIAC Conference title for the 2010 season.

The Warhawk football team is the defending NCAA Divison III Champion, ending with a 15-0 record in the 2009 season.  Whitewater has 5 consecutive Stagg Bowl appearances, and 2 wins within those years.  UW-Whitewater is also ranked first in the D3football.com poll and the Sporting News NCAA Division III Preseason Poll.

The Warhawks will host their first game of 2010 on September 4 versus Adrian College, with a kickoff time of 12-noon.
