UW-Whitewater is in second place after day one of the Stevens Point Invite Saturday.  The tourney is being played at the Stevens Point Country Club, hosted by UW-Stevens Point.

Team scores are UW-Stevens Point 334, UW-Whitewater 336, UW-Platteville 355, UW-Stout 363, UW-Oshkosh 377, and UW-River Falls 444.  

Whitewater's Chelsea Davis (Greendale/Greendale) is second with a 79 and #Melissa Ellis is third at 82.  Jessica Urban of UW-Stevens Point is the leader with a 76.  The course is played 5,801 yards and a par 73.

UW-Whitewater has won three consecutive tournaments coming in to this meet.

The Stevens Point Invite will conclude with eighteen holes Sunday.
