UW-W Second, Davis Fourth After Day Two

UW-W remains in second place Saturday after day two of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Northern Bay Golf Resort and Marina in Arkdale, Wisconsin.

The Warhawks have three players in the top ten.  Chelsea Davis (Greendale/Greendale) is fourth (78-86=164), Amy Peters (Seymour/) tied for sixth (82-83=165), and Gianna Tenuta (Kenosha/Bradford) tied for eighth (84-82=166).  Katie Maurer of Eau Claire is first with a 154 total, Catherine Wagner of EC second at 159, and Jessica Urban of Stevens Point third at 161.

UW-Eau Claire retains its spot at the top of the team standings at 646.  Whitewater is in second at 678, followed by UW-Stout 702, UW-Platteville 733, UW-River Falls 763, and UW-Oshkosh 762.

The WIAC Tournament will conclude with 18 holes Sunday.  The winner of the WIAC Tournament receives an automatic berth in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship in May.
