Roemer was a dominant pitcher for the Warhawk softball team that earned three straight NCAA III tournament berths (1986 fifth place, 87 second, 88 regional), and won league titles in 1986 and 1988.  A three-time all-conference pick, Roemer also earned all-regional tournament team honors twice and was UW-W's MVP in 1987.  She is the school's all-time career leader in earned run average (0.75), and is among the top ten in innings pitched, wins, strikeouts, and complete games.  She had an ERA under 1.00 both her junior and senior years.  A teacher and coach at Pecatonica (IL) High School, Roemer is a resident of Cedarville, Illinois.
