University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletics

An all-around athlete, Robert graduated in 1940 from Lincoln High School, Wisconsin Rapids. At Whitewater he participated in both football and basketball winning all conference honors in both sports. He was a member of the 1942 championship basketball squad. After serving three years in the Navy, he graduated in 1948. He has served as a teacher and coach at Fox Lake Schools and has been an administrator in both Fox Lake and Waupun school systems. He received his M.S. Degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1960. Robert has been active in civic and church affairs in the Fox Lake area. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1972.
