University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletics

Pete Hartzheim earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American honors by finished sixth at 142 pounds in the 1976 championship.  A NAIA All-District 14 pick in 1976 and 1977, he also won the 1977 Wisconsin State University Conference title.  Hartzheim was UW-W's captain his junior and senior years.  A resident of Minocqua, Hartzheim is the athletic director at Lac du Flambeau Grade School, and assistant wrestling coach at Lakeland Union High School.
