The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will be celebrating their one hundred and forty-third homecoming this year. Below is more information on sporting events during homecoming.
2011 Homecoming Schedule:
Swimming and Diving Alumni Meet/Tyler Slak Scoreboard Dedication: The UW-Whitewater swimming and diving program will be hosting their annual Alumni Meet on Saturday, October 29 beginning at 10am. The event will begin with a dedication ceremony for the brand new Tyler Slak Memorial Scoreboard and is followed by the alumni swim meet. Following the meet there will be a post event social for alumni and friends of the program. For more information contact

Football: Pack the Perk as the defending national champions host UW-Stevens Point at 1pm. The homecoming game is being sponsored by Qdoba Mexican Grill of Whitewater and will feature a free chips and queso tailgate, and a coupon giveaway to a limited number of fans. At half-time the Hall of Fame Class of 2011 will be introduced. Tickets are $11 for adults, $4 for youth/senior citizens (4-18), and youth 3 and under are free. Groups may contact Leah Thyne at

Women's and Men's Soccer: The Warhawk men's soccer team will host Finlandia at Fiskum Field starting at 1pm. This match is designated Alumni Day and will be recognizing the teams from 1986, 2001, and 2006 that had NCAA Tournament appearances. The women will follow with a 5pm game against UW-Eau Claire. The women's game will also be designated as Alumni Day. Please contact

The night will be capped off with the annual Hall of Fame banquet. The 2011 Hall of Fame Class includes Bill Euler, Jim Jaworski, Jody Landish, Kim Peterson, Karl (Jan) Schlender, Jenni Bentheimer Seisser, Allan Wassil, Jeff Wiessinger, Nancy and Rollie Cooper. There will be a social immediately following the football game outside the Hamilton Center. The Banquet will begin at 5pm in the Hamilton Center and dinner will be served at 6pm.
