UW-Whitewater pitcher,
Riley Tincher (Oregon/Oregon), has been named to the
Northwoods League All-Stars.
On Monday the Northwoods League announced the 26 players from each division that have earned a spot on the all-star team. The North will meet the South on Tuesday, July 20th at 7:35 P.M. central in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

In the 2009 Warhawk season, Tincher went 13-1 with a 3.87 earned run average. He struck out 78 and walked 16 in his team leading 102.1 innings. He had a team high 11 strikeouts vs. UW-Superior May 3, and did not make a fielding error all season. Not only did Tincher lead the ABCA Division III All-Midwest Region team, earning the distinction as the region's Pitcher of the Year but was also named to the American Baseball Coaches Association Division III Second Team All-America.
Tincher has been playing for the Green Bay Bullfrogs where he currently has a 4-2 record. He has struck out 20 batters, walked 2, and has a 3.00 earned run average.
