UW-Whitewater lost to UW-La Crosse 132-56 Saturday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, despite a pair of wins from Katie Carlson (Rhinelander/Rhinelander).

Carlson compiled first place points for UW-W in the 500 freestyle in 5:52.45 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.91.

Other first place points came from Christina Staskevich in the 100 backstroke in 1:11.36, and Randi Osgood (Muskego/Muskego) in the 50 freestyle in 26.22.  Staskevich provided a unique double, also finishing fourth in the one meter diving with a team season best score of 134.5.

UW-W will compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship Thursday-Saturday at the University of Minnesota pool.
