Katy Krajnak (Racine/Case) was named UW-Whitewater women's volleyball player of the week. Against UW-Platteville last Wednesday, Krajnak hit .350 with 9 kills on 25 attempts and no errors. She also had 3 blocks, 3 digs, and an ace. Despite having the advantage in kills (50 to UW-P's 43), the Warhawks fell in four sets.

UW-W is 22-7 on the season and 6-2 in the WIAC. The Warhawks will host the third UW-Whitewater Invitational of the season this Friday and Saturday, October 29-30. Participating teams include Lakeland College, Finlandia University, Luther College and Elmhurst College.
