UW-W Take Third Out of Ten

The UW-Whitewater women's cross country team placed third out of ten teams at the Whitewater Warhawk Invitational Saturday, September 19.

UW-LaCrosse took first place with a team score of 24. UW-Platteville came in second with 51 points and Whitewater took third with 92.

Eileen Hyland (Wauwatosa/PIUS) was the top finisher for the Warhawks coming in seventeenth out of 138 with a time of 24:27. 

Also contributing to the Whitewater's team score was Madeline Roznos, twenty-first in 24:35, Jackie Nett (Hilbert/Hilbert), twenty-fifth in 24:50, Andrea Newman (Bruce/Bruce), twenty-seventh in 24:59, and Alyssa Duncan (East Troy/East Troy), thirty-third in 25:13. 

UW-W is scheduled to travel to the University of Minnesota to compete in the Roy Griak Invitational Saturday, September 26 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
