Erin Bault (Elgin, IL/Elgin) earned one of the Team MVP awards at the tournmament from February 28 to March 1 at the 6th Annual Holiday Bowling Classic in Bessemer, Alabama. The team placed seventh of 16 teams with a total pinfall of 10,853.
The tournament champion was determined by total pinfall. Bault was also the highest Whitewater finisher, placing fourteenth of 105 bowlers. The next four highest Whitewater bowlers included Whitney Kueltzo (Homer Glen, IL/Lockport Township) in 28th, Danielle Sternberg (Green Bay/N.E.W. Lutheran) not too far behind Kueltzo in 31st, Kayla Schmidt (Johnston, IA/Johnston) in 35th, and Candice Schmidt (Antioch, IL/Antioch Community) in 49th. Leading the Warhawks in high game and high series was Kayla Schmidt (Johnston, IA/Johnston) who contributed a 228 game and a series of 628.
The next tournament will be Saturday, March 7 hosting Elmhurst at the Whitewater Recreation Center starting at 10:30 am.
