The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team finished in seventh place at the Warhawk Open on November 7 and 8 in Madison, WI. Leading the way for the Warhawks was
Sarah Stettner (Kenosha/Tremper) who finished eighth among individuals. She bowled games of 171, 168, 157, 199, 196, and 172 while averaging 177.67 per game. As a team the 'Hawks knocked down 4979 pins in six games and in four Baker games, 2570. UW-W also had a second team finish right behind the first with a total of 4782 pins in six games and 2669 pins in Baker games.

The Warhawk Open was the first of two events the women's bowling team is hosting this year. The next event will be the Warhawk Classic that will be held in Whitewater, WI on Feburary 12 and 13. The next event for UW-W will be the Valparaiso Invite November 13, 14, and 15 in Valparaiso, IN.
