The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater finished fifteenth in the Director's Cup Standings for the 2008-2009 school year.  The award, which recognizes overall competitive strength of an athletic program, is compiled by the National Collegiate Directors of Athletics and sponsored by Learfield Sports.  Schools are ranked in lists for National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I, Division II and Division III as well as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
